In the year 2011, we established 3 Seasonal hostels in Ranchi, Saraikela and Khunti district of Jharkhand where approx. 200 children stay. It enables children to stay in the village and attend the local school. While separating children from their parents who migrate to other states to work in brick kilns is not desirable, but this helps prevent them from the unacceptable levels of distress at brick kilns, where they used to work as child labor along with their parents. Each seasonal hostel is residential with basic amenities. Children are enrolled in nearby government schools to help them to continue their formal education and are provided with proper food, clothing and education.

Although the very concept of witchcraft or witch hunting sounds absurd in this hi-tech age, its incremental spread has been truly appalling. ASHA have been taking initiative in uplifting the unemployed sectors of rural areas. We are doing this by giving training on Organic farming, so that they can grow vegetables without use of artificial fertilizers which contains certain chemicals. These vegetables may be used for daily consumption or they may sell them to earn money. We also provide them with organic seeds, fertilizers and keep them updated with modern farming techniques.
