ABOUT US

ASHA believes in addressing all the social issues through intensive awareness, activism and protection of rights of women, child and vulnerable communities. ASHA’s target group has largely been the women and children and especially those hailing from tribal communities. The major issues of intervention are: preventing witch-hunting, human trafficking, promoting education, building awareness, empowering women, improving women’s and girl’s health and ensuring action for safe migration, convergence with different developmental programs, collaboration with local self-governance and capacity building of the communities.
